The price of Happiness - Theater about money

F.A.U.S.T. III is a modern examination of Goethe's “Faust”. It addresses a crucial question about  money. How far do we go to meet our needs? Money or humanity, profit or happiness have become a matter of choice.

A critical play that translates Goethe's “Faust” into our time and makes it accessible to the audience in public space.

The plot consists of scenes from the original Faust and Faust II, adapted to different stages and on moving scenes, with stilts, hanging over the audience, in and around…

This show brings current feelings in connection with a classic text, that everyone knows but has probably hardly read. Desire and interest rise up again: burning topics are tackled, answers are found, as well as the hope for togetherness.

“Exciting scenes, archaic choreography and a fascinating stage design - this antagon production takes place not only in front of the audience, but also in the crowd. A storm comes up and sweeps through the crowd, figures dressed in gold turn into monkeys. Faust, all sorts of Mephistos and Gretchens appear. ”Sommerwerft-Magazin in August 2013

Audience capacity up to 3,000 people / playing time approx. 70 minutes

We are happy to send stage instructions to prepare for the performances on request!
